Offroad / rally stages
Since we don't really have offroad stages, we will be using tracks that are twisty and tight with the time doubled. If we use nordschelife (which your car does in 10 minutes) as an offroad stage than the gravel nordschleife will take twice as long (10x2 = 20 minutes per lap). Each point of your off-road rating removes 0.5% of your final time. If you do 10 minutes exactly on the Green hell and your offroad rating is 10, then your offroad time will be 10min x 2 = 20 min. 10 rating = 5% decrease of stage time (which is 1 minute exactly). Final result is 19 minutes.
For these stages each point of "Offroad" stat will remove 0.5% of damage dealt to your car set for the stage, to a total of completely negating the damage received. Also each point of your offroad stat will remove an exta 1% off your stage time.

I'm confused. Do they add up?

And that is why you don't start editing, answer a phone call, and then get back to finish it off 30 minutes later. Fixing it. The 0.5% is the official figure.

And that actually makes sense in this context. In my defense mountain roads tend to look similar in long exposure night shots. That and the part about me being Romanian.

Maybe move the damage from last stage to stage 0 (or make stage 0 1%) because having damage ratio at the last stage does not change a thing.

Otherwise it's looking like a great challenge and I'm really looking forward to it

It does make sense if you enter the last stage in a nearly dead car and the damage brings your reliability to 0. Meaning your car dies before it finishes the race

Oh OK than you are doing a plan for future heavier races...
Although it will never be 0 while dropping in %. Or will you always calculate % from base reliability and retract from current?

Always from base Otherwise it would be like 0.001 reliability, and next race - 0,0005 reliability
