Thank you, I forgot Killrob did a Rear-rear car on that vid.

But I'm still not where I need to be to be competitive... Maybe I'll try a different body to go efficient on.

The only problem I have with a rear-rear car is that I am pretty certain it will shred its tires too fast to really go for an efficient build, with that horrid camber going on.

Re: BRC QuER - Hockenheim 1000 km 1976 [OPEN]

I have remembered that automatic locking exists...damn. Need a whole new setup now.

Can I get a bit of an info on how the brake fade works in Brobot? I've got about 0.8% fade, it's either this or lose 1.5m of braking distance and 10mm of tire width. If it's not implemented as a feature that will actually hit drivability - i'm all for it this race. If it's implemented I am guessing the long straights will help cool it all down, but im a bit nervous about this part.

Playing around with push-rods I have to say they're just not competitive. They ought to get a bonus in the weight calculation to make up for the fact you need big displacements to produce enough power to keep up with OHC designs.

Just set your year and click the "last 10 years" filter in the model tab. That will let you know what bodies are permitted without having to check the dates of each one. I'm pretty sure anything from 1965-1976 is fair game.

Selecting "last 10 years" shows 1966-1976. Is does not show 1965 bodies.

Let's analyse the problem here, you can only see the last ten years when it is set to 1976, therefore only 66-76 cars. How could you fix that? Hm, that does seem like a complex thing, if only we could, I don't know, subtract an year from 1976, and then being able to visualize 1975 and all cars from the 65-75 period, but that would be a preposterous, borderline insane thing to do, right?

I am really struggling with finding a setup I am reasonably happy with. There are several seconds missing per lap, and I'm already shredding tires and guzzling fuel in insane amounts. I am missing something, but cannot see what it is atm :(

Okay, done.

PAW will be entering two of their revised, low-downforce, 486-hp HHR Specials. The cars should be a lot more competitive with the top of the field now.

And just for laughs, they're running slightly different pit strategies. I won't share details, but let me just say that we won't be using the same number of intermediate tyres as most teams....

Last I heard, it wasn't implemented at all - brake fade penalizes sportiness and driveability in-game, and that affects track speed, but that's it.

This is my car, called "The Car".

This is revised from the car in the practice, this has better fuel consumption, slightly more power, better handling, and less weight.

Same here for my second car, I want something that is slow but efficient, but everything I've tried so far has been too slow... by 5-10 seconds!

I WAS going to enter a van, but I couldn't get it to be any good.

I gave up.

Rip my BRC dreams.
