Re: PTT Pro Touring Tour

Definitely keeping my punchy little V6. Little bit of turbo, some compression changes, and going to fuel injection has made a good motor out of it.

As for mine, I'm almost positive I could have sold a thousand of the V6 LE, and I'm working on the modern trim to get this modest little family car into racing trim.

Trying to decide if I want to keep the gloss white or try for a midnight blue. Such a hard decision.

NOt even, Seba machado is a very rich man who will pay for the hotel rooms in Montevideo (hotel will be in the old town) while everyone work on their cars in the Ybarra facilities, as they have the best machine shops in the country

Re: PTT Pro Touring Tour

Boss Motorsports is proud to present the Boss Bullet GT. What would be the inspiration for the Boss 499, this car was designed to be cheap and ready for tuning and modification. What's the draw to the buyers? Well that's Boss's flagship Boss 432 Big Block. We crammed all 500 HP into this lightweight car making it more than capable to own the racetrack. The suspension and aero of the GT version are left in a state that is completely free to tuning by the driver for track purposes, while still being a road-going vehicle. The interior is bare bones for the most lightweight and pure drive possible from the Bullet GT. Now, in 2015 we look forward to gutting our slimmed down Boss Bullet GT and beefing it up with modern goodies sourced from the Boss 499, while modernizing the Boss 432 Motor to make a truly monstrous blast from the past.

Re: PTT Pro Touring Tour

Looks like I'll be using the time to revise my engine decision for the Captain. This V6 is mediocre and an outright pest. Still, I know there's a V8 variant somewhere...

Re: PTT Pro Touring Tour

Oh, I understand. I'd prefer trying to do it with my own engine, honestly. I started out trying with the V6 because it was interesting, cool, and new. I'm only revising my decision based on my lack of tuning knowledge for the V6, whereas I understand the V8 well enough to get some respectable power out of a smaller engine. It's simply time for me to break out the 5 liter V8 that would have been offered in the GT trim of the Captain instead of the 4 liter V6 offered in the LE trim.

Re: PTT Pro Touring Tour

you may also use an engine another tourer has discarded.

this means i can just post an engine right?
like maybe i just want to be a supplier of the engines.

or. both.

i mean, i can be both a supplier of the engine for my competitors, and also race my own car?
