I feel the same way Blasters, by not knowing the formula, you need to build by feel, rather than min-max. I am liking the spread of cars this time around, very diverse engine platforms and lots of different handleing vehicles.

That new body is a great looker. Given I was building something British, I wanted to go for the old Jag body, but then decided I simply had to use the US sedan.

I've got no idea how I'll do, but this will be the first time I actually attempt to strike a good balance, as opposed to "maybe I can squeeze out a few hundred more HP while fitting the regulations". Thus, in my fictional history, this is Armada's attempt at penetrating the international car market with something with broad appeal... though they still like a bit of sportiness in there. It's early days yet, but even back here they've been fervent pioneers of overhead cam tech, hence this one is a 12v SOHC V6.

The Belford was designed to comfortably seat 4, keep a fairly cracking pace but also have excellent mileage, all without burning a hole in your pocket (hopefully). The secret here was, Armada planned to make a much more brutal muscle car as a proof of concept of their developing 3-valve per cylinder SOHC system. It is rumoured that the 2.4L V6 was replaced by a ridiculously large 8.0L V8 that cranked out over 500hp, and that the car needed specially designed super wide tyres to prevent them from instantly vaporising... and thus Armada's decade long love affair with the oversized block blossomed.

That's not looking like the right naming scheme, fellow goon. Seems better than mine though.
Except you used the wrong entertainment and exhausts.

Just in case you dont know how to do so wargames: Hover your mouse pointer over Lordreds name, click on "Private Message" (A.K.A. PM), compose your PM with your cars name and what country it comes from, near the bottom you must attach your zip file with the "Choose" button, then the "Add the file" button, wait until it finishes then you can send your car.

Wargames is in 20/20, however Wargames has no country, manufacture or model name.

I need to finish entering the data, for all the entries, post some fun tidbits and then get on with the final show.

Re: 8-Track Tape 1966 [Full] (V6 Challenge)

Oops. I waited until today to try to post this, 'cause there were only maybe a dozen cars and I didn't think it'd fill up so fast in just a day. *sigh*......:(

Good luck to all the competitors who made it in on time, though. :)

Sure you can think of something better? Or do you not take this competition all that serious?
