Here is a "short" video I did on how to quickly throw together a basic car for the contest.

Dude..... that "Video car" .... :o  You could be hired to make the car that actually is able to brake the lens of every camera taking a picture. :D ;)

Interesting video.

I break the mirrors, the car breaks the cameras. It all works out.

The car I submitted looks better.

This. My entry will be is modified production car, not a scratch built race car. Will it hurt my chances? Yes, but it will be unique.

Okay, clearly I haven't looked at my car times in a few days and am forgetting something. Just ignore what I said about FR cars not being able to do 0-100 in 5s, that was rubbish!

My car is available for review also. And I can fix your "race car" that can't race. :D

I'm going to have to decide what car I'm driving before I offer it up for review - I am really eager for the first testing tomorrow!

Re: BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [BUILD]

If you want your car reviewed just send me the same stuff you sent Der Bayer. I will not start until AFTER the races start for obvious reasons. You should also wait till you submit your final car and are sure there are no further modifications.

Re: BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [BUILD]

almost..... finished....

also, thx genjeft for the video. i rebuild another car and are now managing 2:22 around the track while getting 18.9 Mpg.
but im still not finished with it.

also, i would never have guessed that power steering actually would improve my times.... improving high speed cornering times in particular, at the cost of reliability though

Is it this today or next week?

I managed to get under just 2.23 but at the cost of tyre wear (chambeeeeer) of course. I am wondering if good economy will still pay off if I can not make whole race with one tank or should I just stop bothering.
