Is the 15 total points in quality sliders (positive or negative) a minimum or a maximum?

It is a maximum, you may spend up to 15 points of quality.

Good to know, I will use them all on negative quality points.

It should look like this in your game before you try to submit it.

Okay. BTW, since I didn't want to outright copy anyone else, I ended up picking that early '60s Cortina body; I know it's technically a two door(it does seat 5 people, though!), but would you mind if we counted my submission as a 4 door, just for the purposes of this competition? ;)

Re: 8-Track Tape 1966 [open] (V6 Challenge)

Fun fact. The term 'Family Saloon' does not determine the number of doors, just as the term Sedan doesn't mean a car has 4 doors, but instead has to so with the design of the car.

Vic submitted a 2-door Sedan as his Family Saloon. Conan submitted a Wagon.

If it seats 4 or more, you are good.

For fun, Wikipedia

Several versions of the body style exist, including four-door, two-door and fastback variants of both.

A sedan seats four or more people and has a fixed roof that is full-height up to the rear window. The roof structure will typically have a fixed B-pillar on sedan models. Most commonly it is a four-door; two-door models are rare, but they do occur (more so historically). In the U.S., the term sedan has been used to denote a car with fixed window frames, as opposed to the hardtop style without a "B" pillar and where the sash, if any, winds down with the glass. However, true hardtops have become increasingly rare.

Four-door sedans can have either two or three side windows: One in each door (vent windows not counted), and the possible third integrated in the "C"-pillar.

Okay, thanks. :D One more thing: do we just post our submissions on the board, or do you want the LUA file first before approving them?

Any order if fine, but I recommend PMing the LUA files to avoid corporate espionage.

Re: 8-Track Tape 1966 [open] (V6 Challenge)

I kinda like NOT knowing the scoring formula, it makes the field more diverse IMO since they arent all following the same "recipe". On the other hand it is very frustrating not knowing roughly how my car has fared.
