Re: Adapt or die

BTW, I know you didnt list low quality fuel but one of my entries is running it so I thought why not try, even if you score it as Regular I would be fine with that. With this car you can travel anywhere and be sure that it will run on just about anything flammable, plus it would get you there quickly :D

Re: Adapt or die [submissions]

I am having a little difficulty with the practicality part for the family car, I can get up to 49.1 but I seem to be missing what effects it. Any pointers?

Passenger space and seat cout are the main factors.

Ok, threw my submission at ya. Let me know if I screwed anything up file wise.

I hope my engine design philosophy winds up being unique. :lol:

Re: Adapt or die [submissions]

Is there a final cost limit to the cars?

Pd My sportscar is a 4 banger turbo and chugs along to 46+ mpg

There is no final cost limit to your car, keep in mind though cost does affect the score of the car.

Yes, two of my baseline cars have different variants of the same engine family.

Opps. I completely missed the part about 50 emmissions or less. Back to the drawing board tonight.

Re: Adapt or die [submissions]

Started putting together something for this, have a question on the weightings;

The 'yearly cost' bit, what exactly is the calculation for this? Is it just the whole '(fuel cost*12000/mpg+emissions*10+(total cost/(rel/5))+service)' from the earlier bit, or is it only the 'total cost/(rel/5)' part?

Edit, also, just to confirm - those are square root symbols on the '√dr+√sprt+√com+√pres+√safe+√prac+√util+√off' line, yes? If so, are the weightings for the class applied before or after taking the root?
