If both tyres and fuel are not sufficient to complete the lap than it is counted as one pitstop right? in case you did not opt for refuel with every tyre change of course...

Re: Automation Motorsport World Endurance [ENTRIES OPEN]

We would like to say that we will probably not be part of the AGTE class. We are simply not looking forward getting a car and putting it's whole weight in additional ballast in order to be eligible for an entry.

However we are confident about our Prototype models. It's fair to say we can't wait for the first races to be done and enjoy the competition.

I AM THE ONLY PERSON TO ENTER A WAGON INTO AGTE, NO?

Also 82% of statistics are made up.

It wouldn't have been a bad idea if not for the drivability and acceleration advantage MR cars have thanks to having that big lump of motor sitting on the driving as opposed to the steering axle...

Re: Automation Motorsport World Endurance [ENTRIES OPEN]

Hi everyone! Just a little update with a few topics...

First, I now almost over with the university, it's my last year and I'll complete all my classes in december 1st, that means that I have a lot of work and I lot of papers I need to do prior to that day. And a week later, on december 5th, I'm taking a national test to get my bachelor's degree :geek:
That said, I have been really bussy (and I will be the next week) that's why I havent had the time to reply some of the questions posted here. I also said that I was going to update the spreadsheed, but I really can't find the time to do it, so the calculations will remain as they are (except for a minor change with the minor and major accidents that I'm posting in a few days). Other than that, the schedule for the races remains the same :), now onto topic number 2...

NoahC wrote:SInce this is such a long season, I do not see a reason as to why not after two tracks give a time to tweak.

As some of you may know, a big update is coming, which includes some heavy balancing (new calculations for the brakes, the tires, the test tracks...). To avoid future problems with that, I will not update my version of automation, and I'll run all the calculations for the ten events during the weekend of the first event (December 6th), and I'll just post the results every week. That's why you may not re-tweak your cars after the season begins. However, you will have the week from november 29th to december 4th to send revisions of your cars :)

And final topic, I'm very happy because there are over 20 competitors! :D Honestly I was expecting half that number  I have to come up with a new scoring system as well (again, that will be published a little bit later).

And yet, I have a hard time making MR cars drivable and fast enough :|

Yes, it is counted as one pitstop. Sadly  the the FIA WEC rules states that you may not change your tires or do anything to you car while you're puting gasoline in it. So, refueling first, then change of tires (so, yeah, both times are combined).

The AMWEC now needs sponsorship, like the one you see around the tracks and at events

Just send your company/team/magazine/whatever logo (or ad), so I can add them when I make the "footage" and the flyers and posters of the races :D

But can I still push a car into the race that's just red with slapped racing number on white background on it? :P

Hello, Yes. I would like to put forward "Astronaut Magazine" as a sponsor, as we will be covering events and teams from the AMWEC.

This is the Logo. Simple, but gets the point across :D

GG can't afford to be a sponsor in itself, but a joint Znopresk-GG logo may be forthcoming...

We're damn near bankrupt after entering AMWEC, we can't afford paper or crayons for the banners... :D
