You're free to post anything you want. I'm too lazy to post lap times at this point.

Re: Economy Racers

Cool! I'm not surprised my car was low in the standings. It was always a "go fast while technically fulfilling the rule requirements", but also with constraints on its drive train. That being said how it performs on the track depends very much on which track, as it excels, as you said, on tight technical tracks but struggles in the top end due to low top speed. I'll post a sample selection to demonstrate this later, in that case.

I'm quite pleased with 4th. The feed back follows the 'groove' most of my cars fall into, decent price, decent performance, decent economy.

Re: Economy Racers

I feel an urge, now that this tournament is over, just to clarify where the performance credentials of this car lie, because overall, I do feel that to be penalised not once, but in two categories for its, um, departing from the spirit (if barely not the letter) of the economy rule of the competition is a bit harsh. Frankly I think the car performs awesomely, but that was because I was only paying attention to the lap time :P

Also, since VicVictory and I were trash talking about whose car was faster, and so we had a bet based on the lap time

On tight technical tracks, even being FF, this car is a total rocket. With a similar power to weight ratio of a Veyron SS, it will beat one around the TG test track. Similarly, it performs very well on Tsukuba, Brands Hatch and Laguna Seca.

Automation test track is actually fairly technical too. 2:12 is, for this car, a respectable time. However...

Serious sports car fast, yes, but not nearly as strong, due to a real lack of top end speed. In effect, if this was a race held on a high speed track over a long period of time, then yes, Mushu wouldn't perform too well compared to most of the other entries.

Re: Economy Racers

2:17.90 for the Automation test track.
8:00.48 for Green Hell.

This is an illustration as to why stats can be misleading, and the actual times on the track are key.

Wait, I won something? Sweeeeeeet! :D
Lovin' the photo, too; you got the atmosphere and lighting just right, and I definitely wouldn't call it bad.
