I am now curious about a constant power turbo. How do you design that one?

Re: BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [RACE 4 P&Q]

Here are the results and stats from Race 4 at Oulton Park. I couldn't catch some places, and others they just didn't show us at the end. I did what I could with what I got. :D

Re: BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [RACE 4 P&Q]

Much better showing for me this week. I may have even passed Strop for 17th if there was another lap or so. I was catching him at ~2 seconds/lap. I really wish we had the full points standings.

Re: BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [RACE 4 P&Q]

That was OK, about expected for my car. There are so many entrants it seems that aiming to consistently score points will not work out for me in the standings like it did previous seasons. I feel like I still don't understand what it takes to build a competitive car for the BRC!

Re: BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [RACE 4 P&Q]

^ you think i do?

my car is a miracle in and of itself.
not in pre-testing at all. built AFTER the second pre-test.

never finished in the top 5.
i'm also not one of 'the big dogs'(the 4 guys above me that have 100+ points),
yet im 5th in the standings????? O_O

you could fuck me in the ass while im doing splits 5 times over, and still couldn't tell you what it is O_o

my car is like a miracle of a lifetime.

Re: BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [RACE 4 P&Q]

Consistency is very valuable! Mostly third and fourth place finishes for me, and I'm sitting in second overall. :D

(Good pit strategy also helps, of course. This race proved very simple for me: one stop at halfway.)
