Tomorrow or the day after, I'll try to make my AGTE entry. Emphasis on Try.

Re: Automation Motorsport World Endurance [ENTRIES OPEN]

I'm working on a new system for refuelling and changing tyres. I will publish that (or I hope to) next Saturday or Sunday.

so I will wait with entry another week, for some final finetunning :) I am being serious aboud refuelling every other tyre change. It would make sense. Oh and also fit me like a glove... so far I have an undriveable AGTE and a decent AP2. Somehow I do not find much faster times with AP1 regulations...

Another newbie question :D Are you all doing only basic cropped screenshots or is there some advanced technique for showing your cars? Cause you know... if you all share, so will I...

Re: Automation Motorsport World Endurance [ENTRIES OPEN]

The latest pics are from a screenshot for sure. There's a special button at the top right corner in the game which will allow you taking a pic without any other thing than your car and the background. I don't know how to remove the latter as it's done by some people on here though

Yes, just cropped screenshots. I upload the images to imgur first, but you can add them to the post directly. I share pictures of my cars so you can see that my cars meet the regulations as well :D

Just press ~ in the car designer, and then type
  Code:
HideBuildings()
and hit enter :geek:

It's a psychological strategy, you think you can see them but can't be sure and that will make the opponents anxious because they can really see how good the stats are.

When I sent my car in, I proposed a mark in the season where everyone gets to revise their cars. I think mine is going to not do so well because at the time there was debate about drivability and I went with "40" should be drivable enough. Now it seems I might be wrecking every lap, if "4(X)" fixes that , then I will revise it up at that time. If not, it was fun spending a few hours putting together the best car I could for the rules and guidelines set.

SInce this is such a long season, I do not see a reason as to why not after two tracks give a time to tweak.

This is the result of a fortuitous partnership that began when Italian giants Znopresk approached small but notoriously punchy Australian outfit Gryphon Gear to make a special tune for its resident supercar. The resulting trim was met with broad approval, having exceeded every objective in the brief and making a reality a Zeus on par with the performance of a hypercar for a much lower price. Thus when it was suggested that Znopresk and GG extend its partnership into GT racing to form a proper factory backed team, all parties found this to be an exciting prospect.

It was agreed that the Zeus would make a very suitable base on which to develop a GT spec racer, if not for its native engine, which was slightly too large. After some weeks of frantic discussions between Znopresk, its subsidiary Blue Marlin Motor Company and Gryphon Gear, we all managed to finalise details of the AGTE spec car we intend to enter. This is a particularly exciting venture as while GG has had success in privateer tiers of touring and endurance competition, it is keen to prove it can step up to the so-called major league level, and while Znopresk has a strong philosophy of more for less and is commercially successful across its budget platforms, it does not have a background in racing and sees an opportunity to expand brand awareness of its sporting side, an increasingly demanding and expanding market.

Racing is racing, but we are confident in the car. We may have forgotten to inform our racing driver of his calendar for next year though...

Re: Automation Motorsport World Endurance [ENTRIES OPEN]

After months of rumors, spots, theories and fan renders, finally Airborne Automotive showed their new track toy prepared for AP1 class - the F15, nicknamed Patricia.

Image

(Sorry for this photo shadow glitch. Our photo editor fucked something up, literally.)

As seen above, this is Airborne F15 on Nurburgring Nordschleife during final tests. This is company's attempt to get back to highest level racing after 1990 and podium place of Airborne F90 in Formula Automation. Despite F15 not being the Formula vehicle, it has the F letter in it's name since it began to be a sign of best track Airbornes (like S-line medium-price sports cars, get it?). We won't tell anything else, but we guess you know some things about the car that we need to confirm. For first, car spotters (one got killed, not by us ;_;) wrote on his Twitter that the new race car has N/A huge V6 engine, since it sounded like V6. And yes, we've put V6 in it. Also the model prepared for racing will get Devil Red special paint (as above) that's not available in the offer and is painted only on unique cars. The car on the start line will have also starting number #90 referring to F90 place at the end of the only race of Formula Automation 1990. Airborne Automotive, along with Airborne Speed Division are hoping for acceptation in AP1 group, after this for great success of their new car and fair play with competitors.

Re: Automation Motorsport World Endurance [ENTRIES OPEN]

After some parallel work with our AP2 racecar, we are proud to show you the Scirocco Racing NV810!

The development basis was following the same one than for our AP2 version. We obviously had to divide our small engineering team to 2 distinct teams as soon as we needed to get our cars to follow the rules. It means that most of the car is similar, except the engine and such things. Some very intensive testings showed great results, and we are very hopeful for our AP1 entry. Our very easy-to-drive and very-low fuel consuming car is a pure product from our workshop and is a bespoke model specially made for our first championship alongside the Hot Hatch Cup.

We highly suggest you to keep an eye about Scirocco Global. Not that we're looking forward doing huge results, but we'll be having some very interesting things in the near future.
