Re: Touch of Class [1978] [ENTRIES OPEN]

Having done test series on maxing out both prestige and comfort in the beta phase, let's just say I wouldn't want to drive that car :P

Undervalue weight: Drivability (slight), sportiness (heavy), offroad (extremely heavy), utility (extremely heavy), practicality (moderate)

Average weight: Reliability, cost-to-own (amalgamation of total cost, svc cost, economy), safety -- SIDE NOTE -- for the purposes of this particular challenge, the car is assumed to be driving 10,000 miles per year, not 12,000.

High value weight: Comfort (Heavy), Prestige (Heavy)

Hey, just to clear things up, undervalue are categories that are not very important, average are average and high value meaning very important.

What confuses me is the slight to heavy modifer. For example Utility is noted as undervalue - very heavy, meaning its super unimportant? Or more important as opposed to the other undervalued categories?

Yes, offroad is very unimportant. drivability is only slightly unimportant. Comfort and prestige are very important. etc.

Vic how close are you to being full? I've been away from home a few days but I might be able to knock one together later today.

The lights really do lend themselves for this purpose, don't they. The design language there (and colour) is strikingly similar to my own entry :P

However I dont think I have the same rear end treatment as anyone else... this is a fiberglass beats so there's more free will style wise

Re: Touch of Class [1978] [ENTRIES OPEN]

boy am I glad I changed my rear end then, originally it would have looked a bit similar to that! (though on a different body). I switched because the original looked kind of Italian, but I wanted to base it more off a British look.

Re: Touch of Class [1978] [ENTRIES OPEN]

Centauri's entry is finally sent The paladin is a sister car to the Knight, for the more refined driver this 4 seat coupe features a soft compliant ride combined with easy driving characteristics and a luxurious interior. power comes from a advanced all aluminum straight 6 motor displacing a huge 409 cubic inches, though avaliable in several trims the range topper is the "Turbo II" which adds a water cooled turbo system providing 9.1 pounds of boost for some seriously impressive results, the Turbo II can clear 60 mph in 8.7 seconds and the quarter mile in 16.9 while still being (for america at the time) good on gas.

They can tricky, but this one tames it well, but it's only a lightweight stat anyway.
