Re: BRC QuER - Hockenheim 1000 km 1976 [OPEN]

I have seen under 2:19 in a test car of mine with an engine based on the 1977 Renault F1 turbo.

Sure, it has to pit every 15 minutes because of fuel and has vikus like reliability, but hey, it's fast.

Back then, they got away with 0.7-0.8 boost though.

Can we get a confirmation of "the drivability to sportiness" ratio being treated exactly like in 66 or are these rules going to be a bit more relaxed for 76? Cause running a ratio of 0.5 here, and I am guessing I'm not the only one with abysmal handling

Re: BRC QuER - Hockenheim 1000 km 1976 [OPEN]

My D/S scores on the letf are awful like 0.25 but the graph on the right (suspension one) is OK, D/S>1. Second one counts right? Although the high speed areo curve is catastrophic...
I'm more concerned in reliability during 100 laps...

Regarding lap times it is the same (the same as in the game). Driver error probability will be reworked (a bit less and less severe errors) but it still depends on the same ratio.

Ok, so less severe punishments. Gotcha. I'm finishing up here will send a car in a few hours (now that I know it's quick enough, i must make it looks somewhat good at least :) )

What sort of top speeds are you guys looking at? I'm just shy of 300 at the moment with an NA car. I suspect Turbo will deliver much more, but, hopefully I can make this work anyway.

I'm at ~281 kmh currently and my car is capable of 2:23.10 round Hockenheim.

EDIT: This is with an N/A engine.

Taking quite an interest in this one!
I just wondered if anybody knows how I can calculate economy? As I assume the mpg(UK) mentioned on the car overview screen isnt for 'racing speeds' otherwise it'd be a 2 stop race!
