Re: Formula Automation - 1975 -> Round 1

"I will start the series off today, but with no reliability rule applied becuase it would be too easy to see none of the cars even finish a race."
"Car reliability will be used to determine if a car finishes the race or not. This means reliability is very important because to finish first, first you have to finish ;)"

Can you please explain how exactly you intended to use the reliability score in all this? I know you said it will count, but you didn't stated the rules. Is there a formula you use? Were we supposed to design cars with a certain minimum reliability? If you make this clear I will design a car that falls within the rules for the next season.

I'd would have been pretty straight forward: take the avg. reliability of your car and this is your chance to finish the race.
There is no minimum reliability and your car is perfectly within the rules.

Re: Formula Automation - 1975 -> Round 1

Again a double post...
This is very important now: from the second race onwards, the reliability rule will be in place, as originally intended. Without this, the races become pretty boring and the championship too.
Sorry for the confusion...

Re: Formula Automation - 1975 -> Round 1

Could I recommend giving the reliability stat a boost of at least 25% , up to a maximum of 99? Otherwise there's going to be a lot more cars in the pit than on the podium.
