You can find basic blueprints at the-blueprints.com. Also, there are plenty of detailed tutorials covering the basics on the Automation team's Youtube channel. Generally speaking, as a beginner, it's easier to model and skin curvaceous 60's cars (eg. the Jaguar E-Type or the Corvette C2) and 90's rounded designs (eg. the Toyota Supra or the VW Golf III/IV) beforoe moving on to a Lancer Evo X.
You could also try modelling the peripherals (vents, scoops, wings, and so on) required to make a car similar to the Evo; after all, the iconic appearance is because of aggressive styling placed on a family car.
