Also I've found that sometimes it just happens, to correct I have deleted the faulty poly and recreated it, not forgetting to reapply material and sorting group

But it CAN fuck up your Mesh if you have 1 billion verts closely together.

If you shift-clic on the weld function, you should be able to adjust the welding distance. When fixing those black patches, the distance can be put at 0.
