I think it's more the game, not the model. If the mirrors are forward of the wheel arch then they set the max width.

Excelent, also the engine position is very good....you can fit in a inline 6 and there would be enough space to end up with a respectable loading bay and room for the drive.

Can't wait for the UAZ lookalike. Interesting fact: these were planned to be sold in the US in the early 90s, but the idea was axed for some reason. MotorWeek's review from 1994 was actually kind of positive (unlike Jeremy Clarkson's rant)
