You need 3ds max 2013 32bit, it's free for students for 3 years. You also nee the KEE-Exporter from here: viewtopic.php?f=38&t=4729

How is it that every time i download and install 3ds max 32bit, I end up with the 64-bit version? I keep picking the 32-bit version, but it keeps messing with me! Is there a more manual way for me to install it, or what can i do?

You need to go to the drop down list and select 'Browser Download' or something along those lines. This also happened to me.
