Great tutorials covering the basics

Here are some great step-by-step tutorials if you're a beginner at modelling cars (assuming you have watched the guides from the Automation team, and know what to aim for when modelling):

Each tutorial deals with different ways to model a car. The techniques learned in the tutorials can be used for pretty much any car, not just the ones covered in the tutorials. Personally, I'm most comfortable with edge modelling, but a lot of people also like spline or box modelling.

Good post! I also start out with a plane and extend edges from that. I found this to be the easiest way for myself.

These tutorials are great! I still think it will be a while before I attempt to model a body, but when I do, I'll definitely be referring to these tutorials!
