Thank you for the compliments. :) It's currently not possible to punch any holes in it for headlights and so on, even though it's properly UV mapped. Does anyone know if there's something else that needs to be done?

Have you skinned it? I think that just affects the pulling of the car's main parts, but it could be the problem if it's not skinned.

The car is skinned with two dummy meshes that don't do anything useful yet.

Have you set your projection materials in the .lua file of the model?

I've set the regular materials that determine what's plastic, what's chrome, what's bodypaint and so on. The projection materials are the same as the 1980s mid-engined car.

I'm talking 'bout these.
Have you made sure that these numbers correspond to the order the respective material is on that ECS_<MATERIALNAME> list?

Re: Giorgetto Giugiaro style 70's sportscar (WIP)

No problem. I've actually made the same mistake on my mod as well, ya know.
Before you start properly skinning it, I've got a piece of advice: No bone other than the root bone (necessarily named "Bone Root") should have name beginning with "Bone". This confuses the game as hell. (Or maybe it's just a coincidence it applied the other bone's limits to the root bone until I've changed the names...)

Looking fantastic! If you want to send the max files, KJC files and lua files for it, I'll reply with a little bit of legal paper for you to sign saying you won't sue us for using your work, then we can put it in game and everyone can benefit from your work! :)

Re: Giorgetto Giugiaro style 70's sportscar (WIP)

I'm hoping if he allows its inclusion in the game, we don't have to wait until the next big update to get our hands on it ourselves..
