I solved the polys problem (now, 1080 polys only: doesn't affect in the game performance).

is there a way you could put black mesh behind it so you cant see through the car? I always thought that looks kinda cheesy and is the only reason I wont use some of the mods.

Have you made sure that the UV Mesh is all one smoothing group? (It has to be assigned to a group, but one only, e.g all UV Mesh polys = group 7)

Is because my grilles are optimized to use a big engines that requires an amount of cooling, without affecting in the aesthetical part.
