Why can't Saminda sell the C1 GT as it own in South East Asia

To be frank , as a consumer i would rather buy a Made in Japan rather then a Made in Thailand Saminda

The C1 GT is bulit in Japan and only for the Japan market , if we sell it as Saminda in SEA , we need to export it .

Instead we will bulit the C1 GT in Thailand under the Neomo brand . Although the Pearl is bulit in Thailand , but don't worry , we have quality control.

The Neomo Storm is a SUV produced by Saminda Motors of India. It is the first SUV by Saminda a Japanese automaker to be designed, developed and manufactured entirely in India. The Storm is only for the India market and not available elsewhere , Neomo gave the Storm a facelift for 2014 featuring the Fourangle grill , while also improved the powertrain from a 2.0-liter engine to a 3.0-liter V6 engine , the main complains for previous year was that the engine was too underpowered.

The GE Series engine is mean to produce peak power at low RPM to give off-road easlier.

The Zhia is a mini MPV manufactured by the Japanese automaker Saminda. The Zhia is actually similiar to the Saminda CR25, it's built under the same platform , only differences is that the CR25 has rear sliding door, while the CR25 is bulit in Japan and is for the Japanese Domestic Market , the Zhia is bulit in Thailand and Indonesia and is for the bigger markets.

Compared to the CR25 1.1-liter turbocharged engine , the Zhia is equipped with a 1.6-liter i-VIC 110hp and mated to a six speed automatic transmission gearbox

Neomo Zhia is a good looking vehicle whose performance is satisfactory but not the best in its class. Chaotic roads, bumpy potholes will leave the performance of this MPV undeterred. So if you're living in one of those Thailand roads, Neomo Zhia is a safe car to go for , just under $17,000 and if you are comfortable with the price tag, have a happy big family, are swept away by its looks and are in complete love with Saminda, go for the Zhia without doubts.

Powering the Antana is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine capable of 102hp at 6800rpm and 134Nm with at 3500rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic gearbox.

The Antana has all the space of a B-segment ride with the budget-friendly value of an A-segment vehicle. It might not capture buyers based on its design but it’s a practical family car that can comfortably seat five and has the power and maneuverability to make city traffic bearable.
