The Year is 1995.

The Early Nineties Saw an economic Boost that nobody could have seen coming, you could own your own Website, for web comics and used car parts. With all of the inexperienced cyberspace money flying around, The Shromet Corporation had no way to capitalize on the opportunity flying right by their face, they mostly made cheap, efficient cars that appealed to Blue Collar workers and Second Hand Dealerships. Their cars where often described as very comfortable by most automotive journalists, but, more in a really ugly, 10 year old sofa kind of way. They Only Luxury Vehicle they ever produced was the Shromet Titan, which failed pretty miserably, but it used a 20 year old motor that couldn't go on a road trip from New York City to Philadelphia without overheating. But, The Shromet Corporation Had put the past behind them, after all, this is the 90s! they where practically living in the future by now!

The Nickel Conqueror, as it was named, was Shromet's Chance to make a luxurious car. It was a direct Competitor to the 1993 Range Rover. The Range Rover Cost 49,825 When Fully Equipped, but the Nickel Conqueror Cost 44,800 Dollars When Fully Equipped. The Nickel Conqueror was also more luxurious, and safer. Not to Mention, the 6.2 Liter X3 Engine Made 100 More Horsepower and 120 more Pound feet of Torque than the Buick Skylark Motor.
There was a pretty massive catch however, In order to save on costs and make it a better handling car, the Nickel Conqueror was only Rear Wheel Drive. Later tests proved that when put on a tougher trail, the Range Rover would fair better than the Nickel Conqueror, Because of it's All Wheel Drive, and self leveling Air suspension.

Thanks to the internet, people could have flame wars on message boards about which one was truly better, although there was never one definitive answer.

Yup. A Luxury Sedan was Inspired by a gargantuan off road military machine.


The CEO of the Shromet Corporation Said he drove an Original H1 Hummer. He Loved the Feeling he got when he was driving it.

"I was like the King of the Road!" He Explained. He Wanted to Recreate that feeling, on a more practical level. The Engineers of the Shromet Corporation Cringed in Fear, as the knew what that Entailed.

Every aspect of this car was meant to show off. The Door Handles where massive, The Car had Wheels the size of boulders, and to hold them, the car needed to be as wide as Jupiter.

The Car Was Hand Made, From Top to bottom, it had a Hand Made Aluminum Body, and hand made interior. The Original Engine From the Nickel Conqueror was modified, and put into a sedan that weighed more than the giant SUV.

I Figured since the contest i Designed the Nickel 8 Spec for is over, I'd make it available for download. The Old Version's File Combusted and had problems saving #ThanksObama, so I Improved this one just a tiny bit.

In 2001, With the success of the Nickel 8 Spec, The Nickel sub brand was given a lot of attention by the Shromet Corporation for producing their next car. Unfortunately, it did not go exactly how they planned. The Nickel 5 Spec started life as more of the "Every Man's Nickel" But then they tweaked the motor, "No no, let's make it a 4.5 Liter Engine, one Shromet Employee said. Then that started a Train. "Do you think we should give it Throttle Per Cylinder? I certainly do." said another, then this moved outwards to everything else. "Yes, we can give it Brembo Brake Disks!" "Actually, Let's make it a Carbon Fiber Chassis!" and one thing lead to another, and the Result was this:

What started out as more of a "Car for everybody" Somehow turned into much more of a performance focused car. It got from 0-60 in 3.8 Seconds Flat, and would top out just before it reached 200 Miles an hour.
