Hey guys, new at this but here's my bash at my own car company:

Nevis Motors
Founded 1971
Based in the UK

Founded as Nevis Motorsports in Fort William, Scotland in 1971, originally as a tuning company and rally team. Named after Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the UK, which overshadows the company's home town. It's emblem features the mountain as backgroung to a Yeti sihouette, reference to the rally event in which Nevis made it's name, the annual Snowman Rally.

The company began life tuning and racing mk1 Escorts in the Scottish Rally Championship, before expanding into the British championship in the late 70's, by which time the company had began racing mk2 Escorts.

1987 saw the jump to the World Rally Championship. The demands of Group A saw the company move away from the traditional Ford Escort, and began running two Lancia Delta HF's, with near instant success, finishing 3rd in the manufacturer's championship. The following years saw yet more success with various drivers and vehicles, including the Escort RS, Toyota Celica GT-Four and several Suburu Impreza's, winning the manufacturer's championship in 1990, 1997 and 1999, and the driver's championship in '90, '96, '99.

This success led Nevis Motorsports to expand into the commercial market, re-branding as Nevis Motors, and released their first in house built car in 2000, the Boxer.

The Boxer's instant success, both in rally and commercially, paved the way for explosive expansion into other motorsports, notably endurance racing and the Dakar Rally.

Nevis is now a successful commercial company, producing high performance cars, with their roots still firmly in motorsports.

P.S. you can also view it (and rate if you fancy) on the hub: http://www.automationhub.net/company-ca ... ompany/253

Released in 2000 the Boxer was Nevis' first production car. Designed with rally in mind the 4WD sports saloon acheived immediate success in the WRC, which spurred on decent commercial sales.

Nevis Beacon:

Engine: 3.0 I6
Drive: Front Engine / 4WD

Following Nevis' rally success the company set their sights on the Dakar Rally, and developed the Beacon. Sold to the public as a utilitarian vehicle, yet with impressive performance.

Commercial success has been limited, but it's performance in off-road endurance racing, including in the Dakar, has been substantial.

The Beacon laps the Automation test track in 2 mins 44 secs.

Nevis Hammer:

Engine: 7.0 XP V8
Drive: Front Engine / Rear Drive

When Nevis decided to enter track racing they developed the Hammer, a V8 muscle car which they developed to race in the BTCC, NASCAR and several other stock car competitions. The Hammer also marked Nevis breking into markets outside of Europe, notably the US and Australia.

The Hammer laps the Automation test track in 2 mins 27 secs.

Nevis Wolverine:

With Nevis' wealth of motorsport experience, they decided to turn their hand to producing the ultimate track day car. Small, light-weight and powerful, the Wolverine quickly became an adreneline junkie favourite.
