
The Portador was a sucessful and comfortable car. In fact, the king of Sweden ordered a handbuilt Portador from Midgård Cars. Soon, more orders came in from oil barons, royal families and dictators. The special version of the Portador, the 1955 Portador Monark, got a hefty dose of prestige and comfort, with the help of a hand crafted interior, luxury entertainment and hand made aluminium panels for the exterior.
Production years: 1955-1956, only 13 cars built, sold to royal families, dictators and oil barons.

Drive type, engine and gearbox: FR layout, 3.2 liter inline 6 (182hp @5100RPM; 274Nm @3500RPM, 5500RPM redline) and four speed manual.
