Äkta svensk kvalitet!

Thanks a lot for the kind words! Vad kul att du gillar bilarna. :)

It may or may not be inspired by the Crown Vic. Midgård Cars has always loved gigantic V8 freedom yachts so it is possible that our design team looked at the Crown Vic or a similar landyacht a bit too much. But it is nothing I can confirm for sure.

1986 Criado 6 (6th gen)

Image

Our longest lasting car series returns in the form of a 6th generation, creatively named the Criado 6. It recieved a complete design overhaul and is now a hatchback instead of a station wagon like the 5th gen Criado. The excessive chrome details are still there and it has a completely new all aluminium four cylinder engine, named the MicroTec I4. It is supposed to eventually replace our 2.1L four cylinder engine. The car is offered with either a basic or standard quality interior and safety is number one priority so it has the most advanced safety features of the 1980s. The car is cheap, practical and reliable so it became quite popular amongst families and commuters. Despite being cheap, it still follows the Criado philosophy, which is to have an elaborate design so it stands out amongst the thousands of econo-cars that are being offered worldwide.

Model specifications. All trims have five seats.
Production years: 1986 – 1992.

1989 Criado 6 V6Sport

Image

Here it is! After the Criado 6 TurboSport failed to meet the estimated sales numbers, Midgård Cars wanted to improve the car. After some changes to the engine and suspension as well as aerodynamics and tires, the Criado 6 V6Sport was released in 1989 and it became quite popular amongst those who were looking for a fun car and/or a sporty family car. Production was scheduled to end in 1992, together with the Criado 6 series.

I want your cargo inside me... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Seriously, nice van. Quite generic, but who the heck in '89 needed unique van?

Namnet passar ju bättre till en megamotor än till ett ljussystem tycker jag :)
