Holy....
how big of a spatula did it take to scrape the poor driver's brains off the back window after that?

Well, I can take a little bit of solace in that, while you just broke the laws of automotive physics, destroyed the car-based land speed records, and probably caused Strop to issue a call to arms, you've at least not beat the P-14S Eris I built a long time ago in a 1/4 mile drag race... At least, not with the current setup anyway..
Still though, dat 400mph.

Haha nice job. The magical 400mph!
(Presumably an mbtf of 0 though?)

0 MTBF? hmmm...
"Borrowing" Dialogue from elsewhere...
CNSpots: In range?
His driver: Not yet, sir.
CNSpots: C'mon. C'MON!
His driver: She'll fly apart!
CNSpots: FLY HER APART THEN!

Strop, didn't you say the speed that your "Hulk" car made didn't count due to the fact that it couldn't actually cool the engine?

The hulk that does 533kmh has an mbtf of 30 and is fully ventilated, plus has non negative downforce. The one I tested to 632 or whatever it was is of course mbtf 0. I suspect that its not a good candidate for real top speed tests due to its poor drag profile.

Oh god your cars are so sexy Vos.
Might wanna work on tweaking your aero and squeezing every bit out of your engine though

I'm still learning how it all works, but my experience in the Quarter Mile drag challenge helped.

(Yes of course this is mbtf 0 and all, with zero ventilation).
If you wanna know the stats or the balance I'm happy to tell, some people don't like spoilers is all.
EDIT: Yeah ignore that gear counter, I have a 4 speed in this thing (same 4 speed from the drag challenge). The gear counter messes up when the simulation ends.

Yeah i think automation might still need a bit work on the realism

It's less a lack of realism and more a lack of self-control and ability to respect sensible limits. There ARE motor vehicles that can achieve speeds in excess of 300mph, albeit not street legal, sensible, safe, or even good for more than one go at a time without complete rebuilds, VosNox just happens to be fruity loops enough to go 200mph, then say "it needs to go twice as fast."

@ Strop, the weirdest part was I had to make it out if steel all around. I tried CF st first, but the game didn't like how little it weighed and the tires kept exploding. On top of that the gauges kept showing a sudden drop in power at a certain point, it was almost as if the game thought the car was attaining lift.

I can help you with that, I noticed your car's weight. I'll get back to you when I get home.
