Kaisol Motor Company is a South African automobile manufactuer, started by American immigrant & engineer, Thomas Rosewood. His expressed goal was to sell high quality cars that combined sturdy engineering with all-weather capability and power.

The Kaisol is an advanced 2997cc [183 CI] Overhead Cam Vee-8 engine designed with high specific output and reliability in mind. The overhead cam concept is nothing new, but making a system befitting of a road vehicle was what is baked into most of the cost of the engine. It runs on 90 Regular Leaded gasoline, the single carb supplying sufficient fuel to produce 74 HP and more importantly, 134 FT/LB of torque at a very low 2400 RPM's, giving the '52 Model A sprightly acceleration off the line.

A mid-size sedan with a compact and powerful Kaisol 183 [3.0L] V-8 putting out 74HP, the power dense powerplant pushes the small sedan to a top speed of about 100mph while providing high amounts of comfort and tractability. The focus with the Model A was to get a high quality product that espoused the values of the company in a straightforward manner.

The Kaisol 440 is the twin big-brother of the 183, scaled down in order to fit snugly into the Model A's chassis, but in the B-GT, the big V8 can rumble along at speeds of 130 MPH without breaking a sweat. Almost 370 FT/LBS of torque across most of the powerband provides the feeling of being pushed along rather than violently snapped back into your seat.

This is the reason Kaisol Motor Company was created in the first place, Rosewood saw the oppurtunity to create a cross-country GT that could keep up with some of the fastest cars in the world. An extremely large and powerful Kaisol 440 [7.2L] V-8 outputs a respectable 208 HP and a staggering 368 FT/LB of torque @ 1800RPM, letting the car accelerate hard in any gear, ideal for those high-speed runs. The cars handling is taken care of by MacPherson strut up front and Coil-Over Solid Axle rear suspension, providing ideal straight line traction and competent handling.
