My Favourite Car So Far...

Take a look and give me some comments!

My philosophy behind the design is to build a car, which has:

1) Amazing handling, which can be told by the cornering G, this car is 1.3g for 20m radius and 1.4g for 200m radius.

2) Fuel economy. An efficient engine is crucial, this engine has efficiency about 35%.

3) Power and torque. This 5.0L N/A engine has more than 520hp and 500 Nm.

4) Reliability. Everything is supposed to work as long as possible. The reliability score is more than 82.

5) Balance. Everything should be harmonious, enough power to go fast and stop fast. The braking distance is 31 m.

So, this is my favourite car so far. Here are the pictures.

Only problem is that the car is expensive. The total cost is just under $33k so if you follow Der Bayers (sensible) rule of car pricing you'd have to charge a minimum of $66k and you'd realistically price it at $100k. You've done well in making your dream ride but you need to now make your dream come true for a lot less cost! I politely and non-obligationally challenge you to make a car that costs $23k that matches your criteria; this will greatly help your Tycoon success (when the time comes) and, should you choose to play, it will help you do well at forum challenges.

Based on your price I'd give your car a 9/10 as the retail affordability of your car is just out of reach for the average car enthusiast. :)

Well it's a high performance track car, $100 is not expensive.

$100k is expensive for anything IMO! :P

Maybe it's just me but I'm kinda tired of all the "enthusiast" cars being really expensive; some people could save every scrap of cash they earned and it would still take years to buy the car that they want. I had a go at making a similarly specced car myself and it had roughly 80% of the stats of this car and cost $14k so could be sold for under $45k! My personal favourite champion of the little guy is the Toyota 86 (and friends); good performance, brilliant handling and classy looks without a hideous pricetag.

But that's all just my opinion; kudos again to layrian for a solid design and I hope you continue to make cars that you're proud to show off 8-)
