Leo Motors

LEO MOTORS
Company ID: #2003021
This car manufacturer was founded on January 2003, when German Fomin introduced his first car design - PL MkI
Image
Although the car itself was new, the engines were bought from a Russian manufacturer - Lada, quickly rebranded as S4162DFI and put into production. The car's weak point was the Russian engine, as it was producing a very humble 107 bhp, which meant that even with a 4-speed gearbox, the car would accelerate 0-100 km/h in just under 13 seconds. Not to mention a really low service intervals of just 50,000 km.
Unfortunately, low engine reliability destroyed company's image, and by 2005 the company was broke.

Now however, after 9 long years, Leo Motors is back! And this time the cars are more than capable of becoming the top seller in the small hatchback segment.
The first car is built on our new platform G2101, and it's called Nash. At the moment we have two trim levels - SE and SE-S, as well as two faster cars built on the modified platform - G2101S - ST and RS models. The car is a small RWD hatchback, equipped with the

The car's specs' are as follows:
Nash SE:

D4201DFI

0-100 km/h - 9.6s

Economy: 28 mpg
Price: $15,000

Nash SE-S:
Engine:
D4202DFI
2.0, 4 valves per cylinder, 178 hp @ 6500 RPM
Dynamics:
0-100 km/h - 7.9s

Economy: 27 mpg
Price: $17,000

There is not much visual differences between Nash SE and Nash ST/RS. The faster models have slightly larger front grille, larger rims and two fog lamps.
Specs on the other hand are very different indeed.
Nash ST:
Engine:
D4252DFI
2.5, 4 valves per cylinder, 255 hp @ 7500 RPM
Dynamics:
0-100 km/h - 5.6s
Top Speed - 225 km/h
Economy: 22 mpg
Price: $26,000

Nash RS:
Engine:
D4252DFIR
2.5, 4 valves per cylinder, 366 hp @ 9100 RPM
Dynamics:
0-100 km/h - 5.0s
Top Speed - 260 km/h
Economy: 20 mpg (Somehow)
Price: $33,000

Along with the G2101 platform, we are introducing our G2102/G2102R platforms. Unlike G2101, G2102 has a Transverse-mounted engine. The reason for that is simple - we are building cars for rally competition. Car built on the G2102 platform are called Leimer, and here are their specs.Image

Re: Leo Motors

Post your engine specs. Sub-30 mpg figures in a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre engine in 2014 is just catastrophically bad. Try getting the engine above 25% efficiency, reducing the grilles air intake as low as possible (so it just cools it sufficiently) and making the gears taller (the end of the highest gear in most modern cars nowadays is not the top speed of the car!)

Thank you for the tip!
Updates on car economy!

Nash Se-S -36 mpg

Nash ST - 26mpg

Re: Leo Motors

The powerful engines may need a little bit more work if after considering the tips the economy hasn't improved much. Other than that, a major improvement!

As for the cars, I don't see what is wrong with them at the moment, but I have no clue what the back of the car looks like!
