Acthos-Conway Automobiles - The IRIX-4 in Paris Auto Show !

Acthos-Conway is a French motor company founded in 1949 by a french : Jean-Jaques Acthos and by an american : Peter Conway. Acthos-Conway is a generalistic motor company with 2 subsidiaries : ACA-X specialised in sports cars and acE, specialised in electric cars. The headquarters are localized in Paris, next to the museum, from 1949 to today.
The Acthos-Conway cars are sold especially in Europe, Africa and North America, but they have some cars sold too in the other parts of the world.

Acthos-Conway : 2013 Line Up

Acthos-Conway AC2 :
A small car, B segments, for the city, avalaible with a 80HP, 100HP or 120HP motor.

Acthos-Conway SX1 :
The City SUV, competitor of the Opel Mokka, Chevrolet Trax or the Nissan Juke. Avalaible with the same motors as the AC2.

Acthos-Conway AC5 :
A segment D car, competitor of the Cadillac ATS, Kia Optima or the Peugeot 508. Avalaible with a 150HP, 200HP and a 250HP motor.

ACA-X : 2013 Line Up

ACA-X AC2 GTi :
A little bomb for the city ! This car is avalaible with a 150HP, 200HP or 225HP engine.

ACA-X AC5 GTS :
Finally a sport sedan without an expensive price, a competitor of the Insignia OPC, with a 315HP or a 350HP Inline 6 engine.

ACA-X AC5 GTR :
The extreme sedan, avalaible with a 450HP or a 500HP V8 engine, it races with the race variant in DTM.

ACA-X VX :
The pure American sports car, but with French equipement, avalaible with a 500HP V8, it is a competitor of the Chevy Camaro Z/28.

I really like the AC2, even though it's very simplistic it works very well!

Thank you :D The style of our car are inspired for the front by Ford, i really like the radiator grill of the new Ford, so i decided to use them ;)

Acthos-Conway Classic Cars

1949 : Acthos-Conway is created with the first model, the AC4, assembled in the first factory of the brand, at Mitry-Mory
1950 : The AC2 is released, it is a 2CV competitor, it is the first sucess of Acthos-Conway, the Mitry-Mory factory is extended and the brand became the second car brand in France

Some years later

1973 : With the energetical crisis, the brand knows his worst crisis of all time, the third factory in Dieepe should close. The project LM74 is aborted
1975 : The third AC2 is released, but it is a semi-flop, except in France and United States. The AC2 didn't know the sucess just because of the Golf

1977 : The CEO of Acthos-Conway, Henri Greche, is killed by a far-left terrorist group : Action Directe.
1979 : Acthos-Conway start to recover of the worst crisis of it history with the new AC5, a good sucess in Europe and, surprisingly, in Asia, were the AC5 is sold until 1995. The project M82 is launched
1982 : The new AC2 (M82 Project) is launched, and it is the bestseller of the brand, the press says : "The AC2 is for Acthos-Conway that the Golf is for Volkwagen", the car is elected Car of the Year, it is produced until 1993

1984 : Acthos-Conway launches the AC2 GTi, it becames a great succes too, in rally especially. The battle between the AC2 GTi and the Peugeot 205 GTi were historic in France.

1986 : The Acthos-Conway AC-LM makes for the first time the 24h of Le Mans, with the Acthos-Conway - Commodore Team.
1987 : Acthos-Conway - Commodore team wins their first 24h of Le Mans, with Pierre Yver, Yves Courage and Eddie Cheever.
1988 : The supercar Acthos-Conway Greche (tribute to the old CEO) are launcher with a 700HP motor, with 100 cars sold in 120 days.
1989 : The AC-RX is launched, a little sport coupe, it became a bestseller in US.

1990 : Acthos-Conway retires of Le Mans for the WRC, with the project R92, always with the partnership of Commodore
1991 : The new AC2 is launched, with a brand new variant, the AC2 Coupé
1991 : The AC2 Coupé starts his new career in WRC, with two wins.
1992 : The AC2 Coupé wins the 1992 WRC Championship (here, the British rally livery).

1993 : The WRC program is suddently stop after the fall of Commodore.
1998 : The new AC2 is launched, with his usual sucess, and with an estate variant, the AC2L

Yeap, thats a bump, but we are happy to introduce a new model from ACA-X, the new ACA-X R1 , 550HP of awesomeness for 120 000€

But, if you want more, we can propose you this ! The ACA-X R1K with a exclusive 675HP V8 and a mobile spoiler for only 200 000€ !

And we are happy to announce that we are entering to the new GT1 World Championship (fictional :p ) with the R1 GT1, it will be produced at 20 copies for 1 500 000€ With more than 1000HP, it can reach 430 km/h, more than a high speed train !

On a lot of your cars I can see to maximise cooling you've made one massive grille. I personally think you should use multiple grilles and vents but you should try incorporating them in ways that won't ruin the look of the car. On a more positive note your cars make sense, their power and such. Well done so far.

Thank you for your post :) Yes, i know my cars have massive grille, i maked this cars one year ago, i was a noob in Automation :lol: Now i think i am better with grilles (for example with the R1(K) ) ^^
I prefer to stay realistic, so i'm happy to hear that my cars make sense (well, except for the R1 GT1, but because i loved the old GT1 category so i tried to restore it :p )

We are happy to announce, here in the Mondial de l'Automobile of Paris the now Acthos-Conway IRIX-4 Concept ! With a 4WD powertrain, powered by a 4 Cylinders Turbeco of 250HP, it exposes the whole new design of the futures Acthos-Conway cars, you can see it and tell your opinion at the Acthos-Conway stand, in the Hall 1 !
