JC Motores
JC Motores was created in 1991, as a response to the needs of the portuguese people having a national car that they could be proud of.
So, without further ado here are the basic informations about the company.
Established 26th December 1991
Slogan : "Designed to impress. Built to drivers"
Engines codename :
Jxxx-xxxx : J codenamed engines are the basic ones. Built to be reliable and economical.
Sxxx-xxxx : S codename means Sport engines. Based on the J engines, these get a light tuning to make them more atractive to the everyday racer.
Rxxx-xxxx: R engines are the top. Made by the JC Motors subsidiary, RT (Rallye and Touring). RT engineers take the engines to the "max", and every car tuned by them, has two specific badges : "Typo R", in front of every model name and "by RT".
