Some Cars I Made

EDIT:I'll keep this post up-to-date with any car and engine revisions. I'll also post engine stats here.

Here are some cars I made.

First up is the Ibiza. I based it off a Subaru Impreza WRX STI so it has AWD. The base model has a 1.9L 16V DOHC Turbo I4 making 241hp and 228 ft-lb of torque. Next model up has a 2.0L 16V DOHC Turbo I4 making 283 hp and 281 ft-lb of torque. I probably made the fender flares a bit too large.

Next is what I call the Jolly. I tried to make as a inexpensive people mover for the guy with a family so this car is FWD. From the side view you see that I tried to get as much interior volume as possible. Its got a 1.6L 16V DOHC DI Turbo I4 making 131hp and 145ft-lb of torque and a 1.8L 16V DOHC DI Turbo I4 making 181 hp and 174 ft-lb of torque.

Next is the Quattro which is a AWD sedan inspired by the style of the Audi A5 and the form factor of the Audi A7. Its got a 2.4L 16V DOHC DI I4 making 254hp and 193 ft-lb of torque and a 3.7L 24V DOHC DI I6 making 352hp and 305ft-lb of torque.

This is the Stallion which is clearly based off the current generation Ford Mustang, which is ironic because the V8 is based on an LS3. Its got a 3.2L 24V SOHC DI Turbo I6 making 348hp and 327ft-lb of torque, a 6.2L XP 16V OHC DI V8 with 446hp and 417ft-lb of torque, and a 6.2L XP 32V SOHC DI Turbo V8 making 690hp and 735ft-lb of torque. Once superchargers come out, I'm gonna replace the turbo V8 with a supercharged V8

Next is the Regal which I originally based off a 2003 Mercury Marauder but then changed to make a bit more tame. I'm not exactly sure what engine I should put in it, but I made it so I'm sharing it with you all.

Lastly is the Legacy. I didn't really base this car off anything; I just kinda slapped it together cause just about all car companies sell family sedans. As with the Jolly, I tried stretching the dimensions as much to increase interior volume. Its got a 1.8L 16V DOHC DI Turbo I4 making 181hp and 174ft-lb of torque and a 1.9L 16V DOHC DI Turbo I4 making 241hp and 228ft-lb of torque.

So yeah, just let me know what you think. And please tell me what I should put in the Regal. I honestly have no idea.

Re: Some Cars I Made

Some very nice cars you have built here :).

The rear tail lights on the Stallion look a little bit like a modern Chevrolet Camaro's.

From the side the Legacy looks a bit like a Chrysler 300C, or that might just be me.

The Regal's front end looks very stylish and "smooth".

If I have one criticism it's that the base model Ibiza sports a turbo, other than that, it's a great selection of cars!

I like the creative use of the parts here -- nice out-of-the-box thinking!

Thanks, I tried making the rear end from the 2011 Ford Mustang but I just couldn't get the tail lights right. Then I tried making the rear end from the C7 Corvette but I can't get the shapes right, so I just used rectangles. And yeah I do see what you mean about the Legacy, but I get the feeling that the 300C has a longer front end.

Here's a better view of the Regal. I don't know why I didn't post it.

There reason why I only made the Ibiza with turbocharged engines is cause I wanted it be more of a performance model. The Jolly would be used for more basic needs. If a smaller hatchback platform comes out, or if we ever become able to adjust the wheelbase of existing platforms then I would downsize the Jolly and then give the Ibiza the 1.6L Turbo.

Hey thanks. I kinda just stumbled onto most of these designs.

Re: Some Cars I Made

I'm planning to base my super car on the Ford GT. I'm thinking of using a supercharged V8 making about 750 hp. Mostly cause of the sound.

Re: Some Cars I Made

V8 engines are very distinctive because they have that low rumble to them that I like, but the V12 is a very special engine its got guts and it surges the power in and glues you to your seat...thats what I love about them

Re: Some Cars I Made

The light green one is he best... all of them are good anyway but I especially liked that one because it looks a bit like a Mustang at the front and a bit more like a Camaro at the back. Unless that was what you were trying to do, then cool... I had a car that looked like a Dodge Challenger-ish! :D .... and then I got rid off it!

Thanks. With the Stallion, I actually tried to make the rear end look more like the Mustang's. It just didn't work so i ended up basing it off a C7 Corvette; but then again the rear end of that does look like the Camaro.

I made another car called the Pantera. I tried to make it look like a cross between a Nissan 370z and a Honda S2000. Then I ended up with something that sorta looked like a Integra. I also drew a bit of inspiration for it from the Saturn Sky. I'm gonna make it a roadster when I get the chance and I'm gonna reduce the size of it so it weights about 2800 lbs.

I've got two engines I've been thinking about using in it. I know the man hours are a bit high for it but this engine isn't meant for large volume cars so it should be alright.

I've also been thinking about using this but I'm sure if this is going to be too much power for this kind of vehicle.
