Based on my 15 years commuting in the northeast United States Centauri is now offering the Commune, the people's car of commuting. with a stiff high strength steel chassis and durable but replaceable polymer body panels the Commune says goodbye to rust. With 0-60 figures of under 9 seconds and a overdrive 5 speed stick shift this is a car good for merging onto long droning trips on the highway, but thanks to a responsive variable valve system, close ratio lower gears, and a overall small body over lap it's still very usable in tight city streets and parking spots. designed both for ultra reliability and low costs of ownership this base model boosted 50mpg US, high corrosion resistance through out, decent ground clearance with a partial under body cladding for protection and reduced wind noise, and a price tag as shown of only $12,500

A few design changes to the Warpwind has lowered the price by over $10,000 dollars!

How much performance can you buy for $45,000? this much! The Warpwind is a Halo car here at Centauri, based vaguely on the Banshee although sharing very few parts this all aluminum rocket is powered by a 1000hp 6.4 twin turbo v8, it can hit 220mph but still return 22.6 mpg US on pump gas. It has excellent reliability, not just for a hyper car but the kind of day to day reliability you'd expect from a regular car. even with that reliability It can still melt your face with 3.1 second blasts to 100Kph, or tear it right off by braking from that speed to zero in under 93 feet.

Our engineering department is hard at work to bring you the first mass production Centauri Buffalo, this concept car will likely arrive for the 2006 model year. It will stay true to the limited production runs of Buffaloes and will feature at least a 8000cc engine with outputs of 500hp or more, a choice of rear wheel or all wheel drive, and a stable, comfortable and rewarding driving experience. Despite the power, it will not be subject to the US gas guzzler tax, which means returning at least 22.5 mpg, and we are aiming for a MSRP of at most $30,000.

As you can see it was a big seller in 2006.


And this version would remain so, unchanged until 2020.


Opting for the famous TracPac is a $10000 option which installs a 6 speed racing sequential gearbox, 325 front and 355 rear summer slicks on magnesium rims, a 37/63 split AWD system, lighter weight stereo and a active aero package. You also get a revised engine with a new ecu, individual throttle bodies, a redesigned cam profile, and a low restriction exhaust complete with a WOT muffler bypass. All of which combine to boost output up to 655hp and takes the buffalo from a very fast muscle car and turns it into a supercar.
