Yes, those are exhausts on the side and I noticed a spelling mistake after I exported the picture. And after I made the picture, I noticed that I didn't pick ball bearing turbo so I changed that, which means that the amount of horsepower on the pic is wrong.

These are the round indicators looking like they are side exhaust. The indicator part gets hidden under the vent, and only its chrome housing gets visible, which results in an exhaust-tip-like look.

After almost two months of silence at the Midgård Cars factory, commercials for a new full size sedan started appearing. It would be start of a new series of car models called the Tiburon. The car goes against all prejudice that people have against European cars. The Tiburon is big, powerful, fast, big. Did I mention big? Alongside the Tiburon, the largest Swedish production V8 for passanger cars was introduced, the 8L Tors hammare (= Thors Hammer) V8.

Pre-release commercial for the US market.

The Tiburon is a large luxury sedan series launcher in 1989 by Midgård Cars. The aim was to create a large luxury car that doesn't handle like a whale on morphine when taking corners. Obviously, you won't be able to throw it into corners like you would with a dedicated sports car, but the Tiburon has very little body roll for its size and comfort so somewhat fancy cornering and driving is possible.

The heaviest trim, the Reino, does a lap around the certified airfield track in 1.36.14, which is quite good for a 1782kg sedan. Top speed with the 5.4L V8 engine is an impressive 288-289km/h depending in trim so your luxury sedan driving experience can be spiced up quickly when you push down the accelerator.


For those looking for something special and insanely fast, a performance package is offered by Valhall Performance, which includes the largest Swedish production V8 for passanger cars, the 8L Tors Hammare (= Thor's hammers) V8, sporty suspension and a five speed manual transmission. This car will do a lap around the airfield track in less than 1 minute and 30 seconds, reach a top speed of 335km/h and do 0-100 in just 5.2 seconds. You can now race against kids in old muscle cars in style. The performance package also gets a more aggressive exterior styling for an extra menacing look.

All trims of the first generation Tiburon were known for their hideous fuel economy. Best possible fuel economy is achieved with the 3.2L I6, with an average fuel consumtion of 12,11L/100km. This is the reason to why the I6 version was the best selling one in Europe, while most of the V8 versions were purchased in the USA.

All trims have five seats and a four speed auto gearbox. Five speed manual only available for Tors Hammare. Each trim is customizable when it comes to engine choices, except the 8L V8, which must be ordered with the performance package.

The second generation Vibora M combines performance with comfort. While the car does have excellent performance, the suspension isn't overly stiff so you can still drive around in the Vibora M without hurting your butt. This Swedish muscle car can outperform other popular modern muscle cars, such as the Chevy Camaro, while offering at least a premium quality interior so you can cruise in style.

Even though the Vibora M is quite heavy (almost 1900kg), it manages to do 0-100km/h in just 4,2 seconds and a top speed of 315km/h thanks to the 5.4L twin turbo V8, which was carefully designed by Valhall Performance.

The gen 2 Vibora M comes in two flavors, the Caballero and Rey. The Vibora M Caballero is a performance oriented trim while the Vibora M Rey is a comfort oriented one with luxury interior and an auto gearbox instead of sequential.

To top it all of, SIDE EXHAUSTS! And you get tons of fun for a reasonable amount of money.

The first gen Vibora M marks the start of a new era for the Vibora muscle cars and the end for our short-lived 8L Tors Hammare V8.

One of the news is that the Vibora M combines the furous power of the classic Swedish muscle car with the ride and interior quality of a Mercedes. Other changes include an up to date design which is just as aggressive looking as the old versions of the Vibora.

To celebrate that the Vibora is once again in production, the engine choices will include every V8 ever built by Midgård Cars, which is the 5.4L, 6L and the 8L Tors Hammare. The 8L however is scheduled to go out of production together with the first gen Vibora M, which is in 2013. The first gen Vibora M will be the last Midgård Cars production vehicle to have Tors Hammare in its engine bay.

To give the 8L Tors Hammare V8 a proper viking funeral, Valhall Performance built a limited edition turbocharged version of the V8 pay tribute to its great features, its absurdly high displacement volume and its viking wrath.

The Mundo XL is the big brother of the old Mundo series. It is now bigger and has a lot of fancy technology such as fuel injection and traction control. The most basic version comes with premium interior and CD player as well as advanced safety tech and various driver assistance systems.

The engine is based around the same block as the 2.1L I4 used in the 1983 Criado, but with a some new and modern technoloy such as multiport fuel injection and VVT on all cams.

The biggest news about the Mundo XL is the use of our brand new all aluminium 3.9L V6. It's lightweight and can be adapted for just about any purpose.
