I've gone for a subtle, yet high performance, style without any attempt at flashiness. I apologise that it looks similar to cars of my own but I like subtle performance so the designs will ultimately look closely related!
Your design wasn't bad in the first place so it's only in the details where I was able to (IMO) make any improvements.

I wasn't able to see any glaring flaws in your chassis setup which means that Strop will most likely find some speed but I did notice that your brakes have fade... For not much cost that can be easily remedied using carbon items or better balanced vented items; I prefer a car with imperfect front:rear balance and trustworthy brakes!

I'm very impressed with your engine design; getting a 6.3L pushrod six to actually work is a feat in itself!

Re: Centauri Industries

It looks good thanks for the tweaks, the more in depth details strop asked for included keeping the comfort and driveability high without sacrificing service costs I'm not sure what carbon ceramic brakes add but it didn't quite fit with my image of a sub $40k daily driver muscle car, which was why I stuck with the vented disc and less aggressive pads. My benchmark was the camaro ss, but cheaper. I'll download it when I can and see how the numbers work out, as for the engine thank you, I've played around with big straight 6's in the past http://automationgame.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=3684&p=41538#p41538 with the same kind of power curve but this is the first one in the post steam release.

As for the looks I'm kind of glad you did away with my hood scoops, I've been adding them a lot of late and your choice to enlarge the louver vents instead makes it look far more refined.

*edit* while I had this model set at the camaro SS once I get home and look over the various tweaks and pointers the two of you give it will likely be the middle part of a trifecta including a low boost base model, targeting the v6 pony cars, hopefully priced at $24-25k (total cost ~9000) and a high boost performance model which will likely have those carbon brakes as standard targeting the range topper sport trims like zl-1 and scatpack 392 priced around $45-50k (total cost ~17000). And maybe if I'm feeling particularly insane the hellcat or gt500 uber boost trim in the $60k range (total cost ~20000) I'm not looking for this to be a spine shattering track car like the gt350 or z/28 so it will always favor drivability and comfort over sportiness and cornering G's.

Ha! So it seems, without meaning to, I've almost made a diesel pickup motor. Here's the power graph from a 6.7 Cummings straight 6 out of a 2010 dodge ram.

Re: Centauri Industries

I do like this ludicrous torque that's going on here, it tempts me to do things.

Either way, here's some pictures of my own mild tweak of the styling. Note that I hid a wing in the rear lip, if you were wondering what was going on with the aero settings!

Also niall, unfortunately my engine tweaks may not have saved judging by what I saw when I re-opened my files. Do let me know if it's identical to the original. I sacrificed a smidge of fuel economy for higher torque and top end power to nudge the car's top speed to 305km/h.

Re: Centauri Industries

My work has been short handed this month so I'm pulling 6 day weeks, I'll get to it when I can thank you for the work, nice detail with the T-top. As for the engine I have had a 600 lbft 450hp and a 650lbft 500hp version of it since I first started playing around with it, though economy has suffered a bit, I'll see what saved and what didn't and let you know. You're free to use the engine if you want to do something crazy.

Re: Centauri Industries (new cars for MY 2005)

In the mid 2000's the Knight was facing increasing pressure to update it's look, 2005 marked the facelift of the model, still sporting it's simple struts upfront/solid bar out back suspension it's handling had been tuned for a more predictable and sporting ride. this facelift also moved foward in terms of engines, gone was the oldschool v8 of yesteryear, this new knight sported a debored and understroked version of the 5.5 quad cam of the supercar prototype, now displacing 5 liters this engine still produces 352hp, good enough to propel the 1550 kilo car down the quarter mile just ahead of the rival Ford mustang GT, though it trails it by half a second to 60.
0-60mph: 5.6 seconds
1/4 mile: 13.74@111mph
Top speed: 165mph
Transmission: 5 speed manual, front engine RWD, viscous LSD
Powerplant: 352hp 5 liter 32 valve DOHC MPFI V8 running on premium 95 ron
Total cost: $11799
Dealer price: $27,000

Re: Centauri Industries

The base model Knight took the same facelift as it's premium brother, however rather than a totally new engine the base model's reliable all iron 3.6 liter 18 valve straight six received variable valve timing and a light tune, boosting power to 197hp.

Top speed: 140mph
Transmission: 4 speed auto, front engine RWD, viscous LSD

Dealer price: $20,000

Re: Centauri Industries (new cars for MY 2005)

Now officially released the Centauri Banshee has been subtly altered from the prototype, economy has increased to avoid the US Domestic market's Gas guzzler tax. With performance that puts it in range to the Ford GT, Corvette Z06 and Dodge Viper all of which will cost far more then the thrifty Centauri this Budget Super car is a up and coming contender at the established american super car class.

The Boulevard is Centauri's aging, but still popular, full size entry luxury car seen here in the premium trim it excels at giving the driver a sense of easy going comfort with a plush, if isolated driving feel. 2005 sees the addition of traction and stability as standard, the Firebolt all iron 4.9L 24 valve v8 is still with us unlike in the Knight and now features variable valve timing.
