1962 Portador

Image

The second generation Portador features a more refined engine, better brakes, advanced safety features and better sound insulation. This luxury cruiser WILL attract attention so don't drive around in the shady parts of town with it and this time, if you have shitloads of money, you can get the Portador with a hand made interior. We hired the people who made the interior for the the 1955 Portador Monark so you can brag about having an interior suited for royal families and dictators. This time, we have no V8 version and power steering is standard equipment throughout the range.

1965 Vibora

Image

Remember that we said we'd build a new Vibora? Well, here it is. The 1965 Vibora has been improved in all ways possible to make it more sporty. Better performance, various choices regarding the interior and better fuel economy. We also put some extra research into the tires (only available for Vibora 366 w/ SS package) for the Vibora 366 since this version had a 6.0 liter V8 with 374 hp. Standard issue skinny 1960s tires wouldn't suffice for that amount of power so it got wide tires (235/245mm)with 15'' rims. The 1965 Vibora is the car that Thor would drive! And because we're a Swedish car company, we made sure to include advanced 1960s safety technology as standard equipment throughout the range.

The car comes with a four seat standard interior and a standard 1960s entertainment system. One could also choose a premium interior, a premium entertainmnet system and a three speed auto gearbox (if dont' have the balls to drive the Vibora with a manual gearbox). A five speed manual is standard equipment with the 6.0 liter V8 but it is available as an option for the 5.4 liter engine as well.

Tires: sports compound road tires, 225mm width, 640mm wheel diameter, 14” rims. For 366 SS, 235/245mm (front/rear), 640mm wheel diamter, 15” rims.
Brakes & safety: two piston solid 275mm discs and advanced 1960s safety technology.

1966 Mundo

Image

A luxury car with an inline 4? Is it even possible in 1966? Are we insane? Yes, yes and maybe.. The 1966 Mundo is a comfortable two seat cruiser that doesn't drink much fuel and doesn't cost much to maintain. The base version has premium interior and entertainment, but you can get the DeLuxe version with luxury interior and entertainment. It's also pretty easy to drive thanks to the automatic gearbox and power steering.

Re: Midgård Cars

This sure is one of the most beeeaaauuutiful cars I've ever seen on the forums. And I've seen plenty of it. Very well done sir.
Though, I'm not sure if this car is appropriate for the luxury market. It seems a bit schmall for a luxury sedan, and not simple enough for a small sports car.
I like the idea of a small premium car with an i4, but let's face it : you won't change the world if they won't buy it.
This engine makes wonders though. Try it in a budget sports car and you will anticipate the Escort. Or else you could make an i6 out of it and fit it in the Mundo.

Anyway, it's pretty and it's all that matters. ;)

Wow, many thanks for the kind words and feedback :D

It's not a luxury car in the sense that it will compete against full size sedans. It's, like you said, some sort of premium small car, made for those who don't want to shell out thousands of dollars for a thirsty full size sedan; for those that want a small car that is enjoyable and easy to drive. It's quite the opposite of our previous small, cheap point-A-to-point-B cars (the Criado). The Mundo is a pleasent car to be in, unlike the Criado, which makes a Gulag seem like a five star hotel.

Putting a powerful engine in this car body would ruin the tires. Can't fit larger tires on it, so we used that inline 4.

1969 Locura

Image

The 1969 Locura is a different kind of Midgård Cars muscle car. The first thing that you might ask yourself is... WHERE THE F#%K ARE THE EXCESSIVE CHROME DETAILS!?!? Calm your tits, we changed our muslce car concept only for the Locura. The Vibora series will always have chrome details. Another good question is... WHERE'S THE F#&%ING 6 LITER V8? WHY THE F#%K IS THERE AN INLINE 6?!?! The inline 6 design has loads of potential so we've created a sportier inline 6 and the 5.4 liter V8 produces almost the same amount of power as the big 6 liter so there's almost no difference in performance. The Locura is also our first car to use a full double wishbone suspension setup. Double wishbone on a muslce car? Yes, screw solid rear axles!!

So to conclude it all, only the 5.4 liter V8, an inline 6 instead of a 6 liter V8 and double wishbone suspension. Standard four seat interior with a standard entertainment system is included in the price, but premium interior & entertainment is available.

Tires: sports compound road tires, 255mm width, 710mm wheel diameter, 16” rims.

Hey there YugoSpy.....I gotta say, I thought your Petokraka(?) cars were pretty decent themselves, but these are even better; heck, they look rather well like they could have been taken from real life! :D

Thanks for the kind words :D

I wasn't pleased with the Petokraka cars so I started a new company. I put a lot more time into each car now.
