If possible, please save your images as jpg before posting, as png images take quite a while to load. Not that I'm a moderator or anything, but it makes a difference with people who have slow Internet connections...

There are a few differences, but I hope you think its a good 'first try!'

Here is the engine:

And the model with stats:

The looks aren't perfect, but i'm really pleased with the stats as they closely match the original specifications for the real car.
But progress is change... (or somthing like that)

Well, it's a bit faster than the original :P (just kidding, you might need to adjust the engine settings for a bit more power).

Quoted real life specs:

About the Saxo, I own one.
It has 54HP or 60HP (according to the model) with the 1.1 engine. (which I own)
Also, the indicators on the side are located way more down. Take a look on my cartopic in the My Ride part of the forums :D

Here's my '76 VW Golf MKI GTI replica:

And the engine that powers it, which I'm most proud of because of how close I got to the real thing:
Image

The engine has exactly the right bhp at the right RPM, and is within 0.5 ft/lb of torque at the right RPM. The top speed is a few mph off, but the 0-60 time is spot on. If something has been noted down on carfolio.com then it is on this car. Also, I found the size of the brakes from a spare parts website, and the weight balance from Forza. The only major problem I have (other than my lack of artistic talent) is that you can't put the front indicators on the raised plastic bit.

This car still needs some side skirts and a more square-cut back :P
