Montuzo Engineering Typhoon

When the Vortex 6/4 was put into production, Mr. Montuzo was rather worried that the market wasn't big enough to suit such a machine. It was too much of an insane car to be kept in the hands of mere mortals. Over 1,700 horsepower in a car that weighs a tonne. Rough numbers, it's definitely going to GO somewhere... and that 'somewhere' is, in most cases, into a wall at well over 150 miles per hour. Their solution? Widen the market by making a sports car rather than a supercar.

Think of the Typhoon as a baby brother or sister to the Vortex. It's certainly a hell of a lot more attractive than the Vortex, and it is cheaper. A hell of a lot cheaper - it can cost as little as £50,000! The way that the wackos at Montuzo Engineering was that they simply took the engine from the Vortex, made it a litre smaller and put it in a smaller body. Said body, instead of being a full carbon-fibre monocoque, is a composite blend of aluminium and fibreglass to produce a car that weighs a snatch under a tonne. Thankfully, this car IS drivable by people who are actually human and don't have the reactions of a fighter pilot with a Red Bull addiction.

You may say, after reading this - "Where has all the Montuzo madness gone? Where is the hood-mounted machine guns and nuclear warheads in the trunk? I want more powaaaaar!". Well, loyal viewer, M.E are one step ahead of you... and then some. Whereas the 2.0i model had 200bhp (which is still enough for 0-60 in under 4 seconds and a top speed of 155mph), the 2.0SVX has 700bhp. Now, think about that. Montuzo has added 500bhp to a car without using nitrous oxide or any kind of engine swap or replacement. All they did was turn the boost up to max...

(Also, this is the first car to feature a customisable grill option. You can choose between three settings, and they are all showed below.)

700bhp in a car that weighs less than a tonne is insane by anyone's standards. Mind you, it is technically the most user-friendly car that Montuzo Engineering have made, mainly because it hasn't killed anyone...

Lets just say that I made it blend in with its surroundings and there is a split in that grill for reasons...

THE COMPLETE STORY OF THIS CAR (CLICK)

But wait, we have more! Please welcome the LEGENDARY, the ONE AND ONLY mrrrrrr Barney Johnathan Bacon!!!!!
He will do an interview with Patriot CEO Sherman "Big Block" Bravado!!

Aaaaaand here it is:

Barney: Ok, I am looking at the Jetfighter specifications and the first question is naturally - when can we see it on sale, and how much would one cost. I am very interested in which market this car will compete in.

Sherman: We are aiming to sell in early 2017. But cost? Isn't that irrelevant?? If you must know it's $2.2 million USD plus taxes. Competing of the souls of lunatics world wide, lunatics just like us bro!

Barney: So a 1750hp car and a ludicrously high speed, but has this car been around any racetracks, and how did it perform against cars from competing companies?

Sherman: Yes. We are ashamed it's only 1750 hp right now. But we're working really hard to fix that. We're even thinking of (whisper it) overhead cams!! Race tracks, well.. This isn't a race car really, this is a JET FIGHTER! But we're getting close to breaking 7 minutes on the green hell. A more simple straight road to hell is our favourite if we're honest though.

Barney: The looks of the car are quintessentially supercar, who is the designer and how did he come up with inspiration for it?

Sherman: Why thank you! We actually went to harras...*cough* RECRUIT the students at the Los Angeles Art College. We made a deal with this one young wackjob Bob Moore when we saw he came to school in a supercharged big block Vega. That got our respect right away.

Barney: What do you feel the reception will be in Europe for this American beast, after all the competition is extremely territorial!

Sherman: We Yanks have landed in Europe with some success before you know! And Murica has never yet been invaded. We feel our road force is pretty strong. So unless nobody is a mentally deranged petrolhead in Europe we shouldn't have any trouble!

Barney: Are you planning on an extremely small scale production, or just a small scale production? How many are you planning to build?

Sherman: Think BIG, dear friend. BIG is the new BIG! Hahaha...! Seriously though, maybe 30 or something. We'll see how many psychopaths we can successfully recruit to the Patriot Road Force!

Barney: Can I now drive it? O.O

Sherman: Certainly my friend! We already sent you an invitation before, but we're not sure if you got it. Talladega, at noon. Bring your best game and make my day!!! Hahaha *cough*... Just kidding. We can't let just anybody drive a 271 mph muscle car can we, huh? Or can we....?

Is there an equivalent of a Mic Drop in Automation? I think both of you need to use it.
