This is where the Uruguayan manufacturer FMU displays its engines in a none chronological fashion, some are prototypes, some are production engines, and some others are modifications of preexisting engines.

I think its apropiate to start with the engine that settled the whole thing in motion.

First engine is the Hurricane an engine that can trace its roots from a Hurricane engine By an american manufacturer involved in a game changing vehicle during the WW2.

the Uruguayan version of the Hurricane was smaller in displacement (199cc less) thanks to a shorter stroke and a more advanced cylinder head which is now a full OHV instead of an F Head

the engine had an unprecedented fuel efficiency for the era thanks to an unusual fuel system consisting of 2 economy single barrel carburetors and a respectable 75 hp power output for a 2000 cc I4
