Need a V8 Engine

I am currently working on a new car for my car company, Traxx. I am building a modern muscle car and I would like someone to give me some help tuning the engine, or you may submit an engine and get the credits for creating the engine when I'm releasing the car on my car company forum page.
What I would like is:
A modern V8 Flatplane engine, year 2014. The engine shouldn't be very big as it shouldn't be too heavy (because of economy), but my goal is to have about 500 hp. Economy is very important, and so is production units and production costs. The pord. units should be 250 or lower, and the building cost should be below 2500. No race parts as I want it to be a road legal engine.

Need it be OHV, as is the case with most muscle cars? Or are more advanced cam technologies available?

I'll take a stab at it later tonight. I think cross plane would be more appropriate for a muscle car, though.

No limits except for what I wrote in the post above.
Year 2014, not too big (because of weight), about 500hp, good economy, max prod units and max price listed above.
I said that I am building a muscle car and want a engine to fit a muscle car, but it doesn't have to use all the same parts that are typical for a muscle engine.

I'll try and give it a go
about what % of economy do you prefer?

Well, I don't know what would be realistic for an engine with 500hp. But 30% would be good, but if you're a really good engine designer, then more would be just fantastic. Most engines I design myself have an economy of 26% minimum to about 28% maximum

So no limit on octane? or reliability?

Hopefully this isn't too big. On the plus side, I think I've kept the production units reasonably low. You can also get it under 200 kg by switching the block to magnesium and ditching one muffler, if desired.

I revised the engine I sent you last night.
4800cc instead of 4500 but a lot lighter and less expensive to produce.

Thats correct, but I said that it should be street legal, and I don't think 100 octane fuel is easy to get in most places of the world at a regular gas station.

Well, its supposed to be a very modern car, and I personally like flatplane, but if you have a good crossplane design I will of course take a look at it!
