NA-Turbo hybrid?

So with recent events I decided to try something: a hybrid between NA and turbo. A small turbo working in on the low revs, improving economy, allowing for some more gasguzzling fuel ratios, and smoothing the power on higher revs.

But how does it compare? To do so I made a fully NA version of the engine:

Now the obvious question is, which is fastest? To test I whacked both engines onto the same old model I made, new is hybrid, old is NA:

So it's faster in a straight line, but what about a track?

Near identical. + 500$ extra spent on engine.
I didn't change anything besides for engines, a bit of final ratio adjusting and cooling. Probably you can achieve better results with finetuning, but this was just a quick experiment
