CityCruiser ECO Green (demo player)

HI everybody. Sorry, I'm just still playing DEMO version, because I still waiting for "the business" part of the game...

Since all of you focusing on performance, I have no comparison how good/bad is I built.

I focused on ecomony, emission, cost (material/service) and loudness (I meant, less loud of course) :)

What do you think about it?

Re: CityCruiser ECO Green (demo player)

Nice car, but I see a few problems. 1) The man-hours on the engine is way too high for an affordable city car. A more realistic man-hrs would be below 60. This is greatly affected by the quality slider. 2) I am not sure if you are familiar with the weight slider. The weight slider changes the weight of the car. It is not really based on anything, and is really just a way for you to set the proper weight for the car. At its lowest, it is completely unrealistic. Look at the weight of similar real-life cars and apply that weight to your car.

Besides this, the car looks great, and is quite a good car to drive.

By the way, if you buy Automation now, you will get the full game when it is released. You will also get regular updates that add on to the game until the release. When it is released on Steam, you will get a free Steam key. If you buy the Supercharged version, you will get a cool icon on the forums, as well as the V16s DLC for free, when it is released.

Re: CityCruiser ECO Green (demo player)

like jakgoe said, the sliders should be a last touch, focus on tuning first. but good start :)

Or if you wanted to stay Naturally aspirated as you are only on the demo, here's a similar engine idea to your's, just made bigger, it is a 1 liter 4 cylinder with 100hp and no sliders build-able in under 50 man hours. I've included the engine file now, feel free to poke about it and tune as you want. hope it helps your learn more about this wonderful game. :)

And when put into a light weight, aluminum, demo body it Becomes a pretty respectable little economy car.
