Economic 1.9L 16v SOHC

This is my economic small engine! This engine will go in my normal economical cars, most likely my small sedans and hatchbacks! I could use some help in maybe bumping up the economy rating as well as lowering the emissions however I want to keep the car around the same price range (it is my economical engine so I want it to be cheap to build.)

Image

Engine Specifications:
Engine: E-190
Engine Type: 1.9L 16-valve in-line 4 SOHC
Horsepower (net@rpm): 104 @ 5000
Torque (lb.-ft.@rpm): 121 @ 2400
Redline: 5000
MTBF: 75683 KM (47027 Miles)
Weight: 237.7 Ibs.
Size: 486mm x 444mm x 313mm
RON: 91
Economy: 341.8 g/kWh (22.51%)
Emissions: 122

Other Specifications:
Responsiveness: 36.5
Loudness: 31.4
Smoothness: 55.8
Service Cost: $598.92 / year
Material Cost: $614.26
Man Hours: 27.9
Total Cost to buyer: $1739.27

I would love some feedback and any tips and hints, also I will be adding in my car design into the car designer forum (will link it here) when I have completed a few car designs for this engine. I also am going to leave the engine file down below for anyone to download and look at, I will look at all the returned engines but I don't want the price going up by much (maybe $100 max if it has really good emissions and economy pay off) this is my economical car engine so it needs to be cheap!

Maybe not enough power for a small sedan think about the extra weight why can't you have Eco and performance

Well I think 104 HP is enough power, my Focus has 140HP and it has more then enough power, actually has good pickup, and my 98 Saturn has only 89 HP and still is a good economical car. I really just want this car to be cheap, if I could get these kind of price numbers and get better performance I would be down for it. These sedans are going to be very lightweight!

Fair enough but will this be the only engine option I mean some people want at least 120+hp like a sport version I guess for instance you could name your car for instance the rooster and the have the 104hp engine with the model name Eco and then have the 120+hp model like eco-power

This is my base model, there will be a more sporty engine but this is my very eco engine which is affordable and economical! I just dont see the need to be putting in a 250-350 HP engine that is overpriced and is not needed. my company is not a sporty car company it is a more normal everyday company.

from most of the cars that I have found, SOHC is what they have, DOHC is just kind of overkill.

Use long tubular headers. They add price, but it's well worth it. Also, use low friction pistons if you aren't already and make the lower cam profile 32(I found that to be the best for econ)

My Cam is set at 33 (pretty close to 32) and I am using Low Friction Pistons. I tried both tubular headers and they both made me have worst economy then with my short cast headers. Don't know why... maybe I will fool around with the cam a little more to see if I can get better econ but I think it is pretty much at the best it can get (kind of want it to get like 30% but that just seems a bit hard and alot of extra work haha)
