Sure can! That's because in the Leaded era there pretty much weren't emissions regulations at all :P

I took the second engine and replaced the triple-deuce carb setup with dual-quads and it created more power and economy. Isn't that backwards?








I've just realized I've been misconcepting what a four barrel is and that's why I thought it was backwards.

Not really... you replaced 6 barrels with 8. Should be better.
