This engine is just making too much power for the capacity and therefore is considered to be melting. With water-air intercooler, the limit for a working engine in the engine designer is currently at 250 kW per liter. Your engine is making more than 300 kW per liter.

This might be a minor problem as soon as the car designer is done. Then the actual grille/radiator area will be taken into account for cooling the engine. But in the engine designer, there had to be some limit for balance reasons.

Looks like you could prob take a couple hundred off the RPM and still have 160+ hp. This should have a pretty good effect on lifespan

fix that floating intercooler Daffy....
