Re: Showoff your ecoboxes!

Sorry to not be very on topic here, but when I hit the camera button it only takes a screenie of the engine itself and when I hit print screen it takes a screenie of my desktop. Is this just me or..?

It's not just you. I don't know what everyone else is doing, but I use FRAPS for my screenshots and it works perfectly.

Re: Showoff your ecoboxes!

Well, the eco is impressive, but the power output for a 1.4 liter turbo is, well, suboptimal for the year 2020 (and quality obviousy very high). :) If I read the graphs right, you are running at 0.0 bar boost (which explains the missing power). This is in on the one hand totally senseless (and no one will ever do that which good success in the full game), on the other hand this shows a flaw in the economy calculations. There is definitely some reworking needed. The spot for the economy kink is perfectly placed though.

Re: Showoff your ecoboxes!

Yeah, I made everything in order to make the highest possible value for economy, it's suposed to run at 0.3 bar boost, I previously made it with Quality 0 and in the year 2013 but then increased to see the effect, but yeah it's not an engine that would be worth producing and I don't think anyone would want it in their car

Re: Showoff your ecoboxes!

Yeah, Der Bayer got confused with the lines there, which are not where you'd think they are. 0.3 Bar indeed is the boost we've chosen to produce the most economical engines, as that just about offsets pumping losses vs. the throttle.
