Re: Information for New Wave of Beta Testers

I'm at work right now and I have a feeling the email will arrive while I'm still here, making the rest of my workday very, very slow as I wait to get home.

Re: Information for New Wave of Beta Testers

I suppose I should mention that I refurbish recycled laptops at work, so I do have constant computer access. I'll see the email when it comes, but I specifically picked my work laptop (we had a choice of different machines) to have horrid Intel integrated graphics so that I'm not tempted to game at work :P

Re: Information for New Wave of Beta Testers

Just got back from work (23:00) and found the patch is indeed out! The balance changes are included too. My little toe tingles... usually that's when waves are incoming. :P After some sleep and a bit of testing I'll give you all a status update! :) Cheers!

I hate to make the anticipation worse but... Not long now guys! Just need to get the current testers to do a bit of testing on this current patch, then away we go! :)

Re: Information for New Wave of Beta Testers

I had a quick look at the new version and I got good and bad news. The good news first:
it is ready for testing from a game-mechanics point of view, and has seen a lot of improvement.
The only thing keeping me from letting you all at it for the moment are just four or five small
UI bugs that will be unnecessarily confusing (invisible/hidden buttons, missing textures, offset
texts, and a trivial score calculation bug).

These are all quick fixes, and I've urged the devs to squish those bugs first to get going with
the testing :) all else seems ready. I really hope today will be the day!
Cheers!

Leave the invisible buttons and call it the "Extreme Difficulty setting"

Re: Information for New Wave of Beta Testers

As soon as the few flaws are fixed, and the new patch is out, I'll get you into the beta. When the patch is released I don't know though, that's up to Daffy and Zeussy. I do hope today is the day :)
