What would one do with more than a couple of copies of a game?

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

Well, if you have friends (which I hope you do), then you can gift them a copy :) spread the awesome that will be Automation... also you'll not get more than four... although donating 500$ would probably be a good basis for negotiating that part :P And umm... what to do with more than that? Having a raffle at uni/school/work to become really popular? xD
Cheers!

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

Made my donation. A small one, but I hope someday I'll be able to upgrade my donation. Getting a short bus or similar as a designable would be epic...

Anyways, Can't wait to see some more. This looks epic.

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

 OK, I can stop work on MY CAR GAME now. Was Making some car Models In TrueSpace, And trying to make Dark Basic Pro, do things it was never Intended to do(Edit Car Models lol). Mostly was just doing research On Car Company's and Engine designs.

So now i'm gonna give you guys my Full support and Cash, And Some Input form my Research. Not that you Really need it, your doing a great job of making the same game i wanted to make.

P.S. From the US i have seen Automakers here do some very smart things, and some very very Dumb things.

Thanks Daffy. One of these days I'm gonna go through the Miata and fix all its faults (not the least of which is the back window shrunk... Not cracked, but the zipper's totally trashed). Have you put an actual oil pressure gauge in? Mine still has the idiot dial...

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

I've talked to the guys at RocketHub, they are aiming to have Paypal support, it is just taking them a long time. Paypal is a very slow, bureaucratic organisation.

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

Yeah, problem is I only have debit cards and they don't take any of mine.
If no-one's got one I can go set a credit card up I suppose, not a complete barrier, just a bit of a pain!

Re: Automation Preorders On Rocket Hub

Visa Gift cards are worth looking into as a workaround, they're a once off credit card that you put a certain amount of money into, so you could probably buy a $20 (or whatever) one somehow..
