Re: vtec screamer.my daily drive

i was wondering how long it would take somebody to think to themselves why am i a big ford fan and im driving honda.
well at the time i bought the type r(2008)the focus st was out of my price range.ive had the mondeo st220 that was awsome but the fuel costs were ridiculous so i had to sell.then i seen this type r for sale and i just fell in love with it(its the first none ford car ive owned)my mate as got an integra type r which ive driven and i loved the v tec engine so thats why ive got the civic.
in about another year im hoping to buy the latest shape focus rs.(yes in lime green.)

Re: vtec screamer.my daily drive

ST220 is a cool car, But V6 can be painful on the fuel cost. Any V6 can't be better on fuel cost than L4 anyway.

Honda Civic Type-R is also a cool car, especially when you keeping it clean like that.

If you gonna get Focus RS it's can be only in Lime Green

Re: vtec screamer.my daily drive

Well, that settles it, you'll need to kill your neighbor and take his Focus :P

Thats one of the few cars that can get away with being lime green and not look stupid (the other one being an exige IMHO)

Re: vtec screamer.my daily drive

Nice Civic.

My brother has an RSX Type-S and its a ton of fun.

I have never driven a front wheel drive car with such solid handling.

And that VTEC sound.. its beautiful :P

One interesting thing he mentioned is that the difference in fuel ecconomy between always shifting below 3k rpm and hitting VTEC often is unnoticable. And he drives ALOT for his job so he really keeps an eye on the fuel ecconomy.
